NEWS FOR ANGLERS OVER 60 YEARS OF AGE
Your WDUAA is organising in 2016 a series of five contests exclusively for Anglers over 60 years of age on our Witley Court Silver Fish Pool and Summer and Autumn Pensioners’ Canal Leagues.
Full details of all three of these events are enclosed or attached. Regarding the Silver Fish Pool contests, first chance to reserve pegs is to be open only to members of WDUAA Clubs who are over 60 years of age. If you wish to book in, please text or leave a voice message for Jerry Bartlett on 07812 950892 before Thursday 17 March. After that date, pegs for the Silver Fish Pool contests will be offered to anglers over 60 years of age who have an Honorary WDUAA Card.

To compete in these contests, you must:
1.be over 60 years of age on the day of the match;
2.be a member of an angling club affiliated to the WDUAA; and
3.before any contest you want to join in, text or voice message Jerry Bartlett on 07812 950892 to reserve your peg (you can book for all five contests before the first one).
Each of the these contests can be fished as an individual match or all five may be fished as an aggregate with your best four results counting towards your final points total.
MATCH FEE (payable before the 09.00 draw on the day of each match): £5 (including £2 to be paid out to the first and second placed contestants on the day, £1 donation to WDUAA funds and £2 to be paid out to the anglers with the highest and second highest points aggregate totals at the end of the five match series).

To compete in this League, you must:
1.be over 60 years of age on the day of the match;
2.fish the WDUAA Canal Open Contests (£15 Entry Fee including pools for each match) which are on the same dates and at the same venues; and
3.be in possession of a WDUAA Concessionary Card (either honorary or from an affiliated club) before the draw for the first contest (a WDUAA Honorary Concessionary Card may be bought for £20 from Jerry Bartlett at 08.45 on the day of each match).
For the Pensioners’ League:
1.there is no entry fee additional to the £15 charge for fishing the Open contest at the same venue and on the same date;
2.your best four results out of the five contests count for your final points aggregate total; and
3.prebooking is not necessary - just turn up before the 09.00 draw.

2.fish the WDUAA Canal Open Contests (£15 Entry Fee including pools for each match) which are on the same dates and at the same venues; and
3.be in possession of a WDUAA Concessionary Card (either honorary or from an affiliated club) before the draw for the first contest (a WDUAA Honorary Concessionary Card may be bought for £10 (this is half price because there is only six months validity remaining) from Jerry Bartlett at 08.45 on the day of each match).
For the Pensioners’ League:
